Terms of Service

Welcome to Kujia Jobs Mtandao! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kujia Jobs Mtandao website and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. Youth (Job Seekers) must be Kujia chapter members, aged 18-35, and in approved tech domains. Employers must accept our Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) before posting jobs.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms.
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profile information.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.

5. Payment Terms (for Employers)

Employers agree to a 10% placement fee for successful hires made through the platform. Payment processing will be facilitated via M-Pesa, Stripe, or Flutterwave. All fees are non-refundable once a placement is confirmed.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Kujia Jobs Mtandao or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Kujia Jobs Mtandao does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content or information on the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kujia Jobs Mtandao shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
